“The worst battle you’ll have to fight is between what you know and how you feel.” ~ Turcois Ominek
Have you ever been transported to a place, and you can recall nothing about the journey but the loud conversation your mind is having with your soul and heart?
The deep discussion between the three, of how you thought you got things under control and how your heart promised not to expect anything, but then your mind is being blamed by your soul for being too rigid?
Sometimes, the discussion is resolved to a new decision, promise or laughter. And sometimes, you only establish anger with yourself
“I know. I was there. I saw the great void in your soul, and you saw mine.” ~ Sebastian Faulks
My mind and soul had an interesting discussion lately, with my heart being tagged in between the two.
As the discussion heated between the two, my heart was unsure of what to do and stood there, watching with dismay. It notified me with its sad feeling and anger coming in to set the session to practice.
The jury of insecurities were there too, shouting issues I had carried along the way, becoming joyous with the argument between my mind and soul heating up
Anger: we are here to decide who to blame for these unpleasant feelings she is having
Member of jury: she hates being blamed for things, and mind is doing that now
Soul: yes! You did that to me
Another member: and remember when she asked to not expect things, but soul right here did
Mind: that is true, you broken our agreement
Soul: you were thinking it too, I only had the inner gut effect!
Heart: guys, we should have “grown up” out of this
Anger: but we never did, and she is hurt…I am happy that I have to step in for you all to realise your mistakes
“Has it ever occurred to you that where there is no anger, there is also no love?” ~ Siobhan Dowd
